Soccer Training - for guys
Heys!
Due to the overwhelming excuse for people not coming for training is that it's too early~ (haha, but 0800 is really early, and i have to admit, the thought of skipping training did cross my mind) i've decided to push back the training timing to 0900...

We'll meet 0830 at the comm hall, then we'll go to SRC together. Even if you're driving there, just gather at the comm hall first too~ So i can longbang my balls on your car. haha~ =P

Attendance WILL be taken~ so do make an effort to wake up earlier. Morning calls request is available by me, for a small fee of 50cents per call.` haha.

Yupyup! help spread the word!! See you guys on Monday!

monday was last training...it was at the quadrangle! super weird. and junhong kept laughing at us at A3. go and die la. hahaha.

we played a new game at the end! oh mmmmy. damn funny game. it was sepak meet volleyball. gillian and xiangpin were pretty good at gently controlling the ball and hitting it over our 'net'. we made a few booboos but robert said in the end we did improve..marginally?

Sunday
Oh~ on Sunday 051106, we played a friendly against Sheares Hall, and we had a 6-3 win~ *yaYs* Initially, we were trailing by 2 goals, (sigh... always letting in the early goals as usual, haha), but with the team's fighting spirit and determination, we managed to catch back, and the score at half time was 3-2. During the 2nd half, the team played more confidently (could be due to the 1 goal lead), and we scored another 3 goals, while conceding 1 penalty.

Our scorers were:
Xianz - 3
Spaz - 1
Hyena - 1
Glass - 1

yupyup! Despite the win, don't be complacent, cos we still have alot to work on! =)

But for now, the guys training will take a hold until Exams are over. Afterall, we all students mah. Studies more impt for most of us lah~ See you guys soon!

yepp get yourselves familiarize with what to expect for IHG next year :) of cos this doesnt mean you have to rush out to get your boots and shin guards as yet because we've to narrow the team down to 18 girls. Hence, it is imperative for those serious about soccer to attend dec trainings ok?

on monday, robert taught us simple warm up drills and also ball control techniques. NOT EASY. be prepared to have fun though. so i hope more people can turn up for our last training next monday, 13 Nov, 4-6pm at TH bball courts.

meanwhile, enjoy life. dont study too much la! when it's time to hit the books, you'll know it. for now, relax and breathe easy :)

on monday, we had training with a grand total of 7 ppl!

SIGH. but it's ok cos i'm sure the turnout will be much better in the dec hols. i cant wait for field trainings actually cos i keep forgetting to bring my street soccer shoes(they are damn cui already anw) and my running shoes are just so retardedly bulky.

but i'm also veryveryvery certain that field trainings will be awesome. RIGHT GIRLS?

so anw, char ong, gillian, samantha, elsie, lilian and anli came. we did some basic ball drills, played monkey, a short attack-defence game and then a short 3 a side game. i hope those who turned up found that it was fun if not exactly useful :) leave some feedback here.

next monday, same time same place yeah. robert, our coach, will be here.
